2. open gas valve on bottom of burner

7 Lighting: 1. check gas supply
2. open gas valve on bottom of burner 3. close air supply by turning barrel

8 Lighting: 1. check gas supply
2. open gas valve on bottom of burner 3. close air supply by turning barrel 4. turn on gas at tap

9 Lighting: 1. check gas supply
2. open gas valve on bottom of burner 3. close air supply by turning barrel 4. turn on gas at tap 5. listen for gas

10 Lighting: 1. check gas supply
2. open gas valve on bottom of burner 3. close air supply by turning barrel 4. turn on gas at tap 5. listen for gas 6. smell for gas

13 Adjusting the Flame: This is a Dirty Flame

14 Adjusting the Flame: Cool Flame: turn the barrel until there is no more yellow

15 Adjusting the Flame: Hot Flame: turn the barrel until there is an inner blue cone

16 Adjusting the Flame: Hot Flame: turn the barrel until there is an inner blue cone the tip of the inner blue cone is the hottest part of the flame
