5. LONGING FOR THE LORD A PSALM OF DAVID, WHEN HE WAS IN THE WILDERNESS OF JUDAH 1 O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

6. VISION OF GOD’S CHARACTER 2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. 3 Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.

GOD’S CHARACTER Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

PRINCIPLES God is transcendent, immanent, and holy The most important thing to every human is a personal reconciled relationship with God Everyone who has a personal relationship with God should cultivate that relationship Everyone who has a personal relationship with God can trust Him in every situation

13. APPLICATIONS What is more important to you than a personal relationship with The Only God? Have you established a personal reconciled relationship with The Father through The Son? If you have, what should you do to cultivate the relationship? Will you? John 14:21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”
