WHEN I WAS BORN I was born on April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy

MY CHILDHOOD I spent my first five years at Hamlet of Anchiano in the home of my mother. In 1457 I lived in the household of my father, grandparents and uncle, Francesco. In a small town named Vinci. My father married a sixteen-years-old girl whose name was Albiera. And she loved me but she died young unfortunately. When I was young a kite dropped from the sky and hovered over my cradle, it’s feathers brushing my face. And I had an obsession with devising a machine for flying.

MY EARLY LIFE I, Leonardo da Vinci, spent most of my time with my father’s family at Vinci. I developed interest in nature and precocious display of artistic talent. I spent most of my time without parents. I was outside for most of the time observing nature and sketching some of it.

WHAT I STUDIED When I was 17, I went to become an apprentice of painting. I studied the nature around me. And I also drew a lot of plants and other things in the world. I had some famous artwork like Mona Lisa that I made in 1517 and The Last Supper in 1498. Mona Lisa The Last Supper

WHAT SCHOOL DID I GO TO I never attended public school I was raised by my single father.

MY FAMILY I never got married because I painted. I didn’t have any brothers or sisters.

MY FRIENDS My friend’s name was Andrea del Verrocchio, who ran one of the largest artists’ workshop in Florence. Andrea del Verrocchio

FACTS ABOUT LEONARDO -I drew a plans for the first armored car in 1485 -I never got married or had children -I was famous for the way he used light in his portraits

WHY I CHOSE LEONARDO DA VINCI? I chose Leonardo da Vinci because I love drawing and he drew. And it inspires me to do it more.

MY DEATH I died on May 2,1519 in Amboise, France.
