4 Brief Description Sponsored by “Alliance Project” Sponsored by “Alliance Project”  Western Kentucky University  South Central AHEC  “Centro La Esperanza” –IRB approved National Alliance for Hispanic Health (NAHH) developed and CDC validated survey instrument. National Alliance for Hispanic Health (NAHH) developed and CDC validated survey instrument. –Survey (n=120) and 2 Focus Groups (n=16) –24 questions: 10 open ended questions and 14 multiple selection –Topics: Main Concerns, Health, Conditions, Diseases, Barriers, possible solutions, settings, and mass media. –Churches, restaurants, stores with support from local community leaders, chambers of commerce, businesses, some NGO’s.
