1. Vehicle access to Picnic Pavilion There is vehicle access from the Maintenance Area. This should only be used to transport supplies and such to/from the area. Please park in the Main Lot. This road IS NOT plowed in winter.

2. Picnic Pavilion The picnic pavilion is an enclosed area and has a wood-burning furnace, lights, seasonal outdoor running water, electricity, propane range top (bring your own tank), a covered fire pit, and of course, picnic tables.

3. Wood burning furnace This furnace will make the pavilion a little warmer in the winter – it will not heat it to the point of wearing t-shirts. In other seasons the furnace can make the area quite comfy. It’s a smidge noisy though!

4. Inside the Pavilion Inside you’ll find 5-6 picnic tables (they are heavy). More tables can be obtained if needed. It also makes for a great classroom and recreation area for your event!

5. Propane Stove Only the range top works. The oven door and burner hardware was removed for safety. You must supply your own propane and cookware. A standard 20lb BBQ tank works just fine!

6. Tent and Program space available! Plenty of room for several tents, or to run program and outdoor games. A small fire ring is located in the middle of the field.

7. Trail to Main Parking Lot There is an access trail to the main parking lot. There is a brand new basketball goal and net in the parking lot. See Ranger for basketball(s).

8. Outdoor fireplaces There are four (4) vintage fieldstone fireplaces located in the area. They can be used with charcoal or wood. Or you can sit your camp stove upon the flat stones.

9. Latrine The Pavilion has its own latrine (with seasonal water). There is a male side and a female side. Each side has a sink.
