1. How will a new book appear? THE PROCESS OF MAKING A BOOK

2. Early in the morning woodcutters will start their work.

3. Machines will help the people cut trees and peel away their branches.

4. Lorries get the logs to the woodworking plant.

5. At first, the bark will be removed from the logs.

6. Then the logs will be chopped up very small, and mixed up with water to get a pulp.

7. This will be rolled out into a long stripe and sent to the next machine.

8. At last the endless paper sheet is ready. Is it enough to make a book? No, it isn’t. Somebody has to write it. People who write books are called WRITERS.
