3. 1-ITF statistical products Statistics Briefs Key Transport Statistics, 2011 Trends in the Transport Sector, 1970-2011 Transport Infrastructure Investment Transport Outlook 3

4. 2- New Member countries China and Chile are new ITF Member countries. Data to be collected India is an ITF member for 3 years now. Most Indian data is now up-to- date. 4

5. 3-Leipzig Summit 2012 ITF Summit on “Seamless Transport” just took place on 2-4 May. About 1000 participants. Very promising for the future. Professor José VIEGAS is the new ITF Secretary General 5

6. 3-Leipzig Summit 2013 The topic is “Funding Transport” Leipzig 22-24 May 2013 Workshop on measuring investment in transport infrastructure Results presented at the Summit I will encourage all of you to participate in it 6

7. 4- Future developments Increase the contribution of statistics to our annual Summit in Leipzig. Create a statistical workshop linked with the Summit topic Strengthen our “Investment in Transport Infrastructure” and serve 2013 summit on “funding transport” 7
