4 Calls, applications and projects 3 calls for the Mobility in higher education (2013, 2014, 2015) – 22 applications, all (fully or partly) funded, 2 projects withdrawn 2 calls for Cooperation projects (2013, 2014) – 12 applications, 10 funded projects 1 call with rolling deadline for preparatory visits – 43 visits were funded (17 from the Research Programme)

7 Cooperation projects at upper secondary level Priority themes: Develop the Math and Science direction in upper secondary schools Integrate green growth and sustainability issues into teaching process Develop schools as environmental-friendly institutions Create thematic partnerships between schools and local communities for local sustainable development Address general health issues in health and sports education at schools, e.g. by promoting healthy lifestyle, physical outdoor activities and winter sports

11 Using Social Studies and Languages to Teach Sustainability at the Upper Secondary Level Partners: Narva Vanalinna State School, Tallinn Õismäe Russian Lyceum and Kópavogur Grammar School (IS) WHY: to find answers to the question of how to involve sustainability in all subjects in upper secondary school including Languages and Social Studies WHAT: –materials for teaching sustainability in language subjects and social studies (topics, ideas, methods, approaches, worksheets, study guides and other guidelines) in Estonian, Russian and Icelandic; website https://makeanewplanet.wordpress.com/

12 Promoting healthy lifestyles in school Partners: Aravete Secondary School and Lillehammer upper secondary school (NO) WHY: to develop modern teaching methods teachers can use to integrate different subjects and promote healthy lifestyles in school.
