Nervous System

The Nervous System  A human’s scent membrane in the nose is about the size of a postage stamp.  If you go blind in one eye, you’ll only lose about one-fifth of your vision (but all your depth perception).  There are 45 miles of nerves in the skin of a human being.  Nerves can send impulses at a speed of 360 km/hr.  Human eyes can detect 10,000 colors. Amazing Facts

Primary…  The nervous system is primary because it literally controls all the processes in our body. Whether it be the beating of the heart or the functioning of the lungs, it controls all.

Respiratory System

The Respiratory System  A cough releases an explosive charge of air moves at speeds up to 60 mph.  A sneeze can exceed the speed of 100 mph.  The left lung is smaller than the right lung to make room for the heart.  The human body can lose a lot of water, while breathing.  Asthma was once treated with physiotherapy. Amazing Facts

Secondary…  The respiratory system is secondary to the nervous system because it is controlled by it. Also, the cardiovascular system because it plays a big role in the functioning and purpose of the cardiovascular system.
