9 Truancy Some questions we can answer Why the Increase? What does the School-Based Probation Officer (SBPO) do; and is it working? How does she get her referrals? Who does she communicate with to identify students? What happens if the student doesn’t comply? Why are we filing truancy and incorrigible? How is DHHR involved in this process?
