3 MOL The Mission Operations Laboratory Page 3 NASA MSFC Engineering Directorate Huntsville, Alabama Major Roles & Responsibilities  Lead TST to determine training requirements, hardware/software needed for training, instructors, procedure authors, implementation milestones  Write, help validate, and baseline Op Nom and crew procedures when chosen as Procedure Author (service only offered to EXPRESS subrack payloads and POIC operated facilities)  Validate training hardware/software via pre/post-ship tests  Certify courseware and instructor(s)  Prepare and conduct crew training when chosen as Instructor (service only offered to EXPRESS subrack payloads and POIC operated facilities)  Know in detail EXPRESS Rack operations

4 MOL The Mission Operations Laboratory Page 4 NASA MSFC Engineering Directorate Huntsville, Alabama Major Roles & Responsibilities  Know about the systems that payloads use on board ISS including EPS, TCS, ECLSS  Become SME on the operational aspects of payloads assigned  Give inputs to rules and regs, integrated safing procedures, and cue cards  Work with PD to understand any ground command procedure activities  Work with sim team and PDs to write sim events and be PD surrogates  Become familiar with real-time ops and products used during operations  Guide PDs through milestones they must meet  Participate in JIT operations readiness
