1. 3.9 Temiss Installation 1.In the “IPC Setup” folder, access the “Temiss Program V5.2.6” folder and then enter the “Temiss Setup” folder. 1 Temiss Program V5.2.6 Temiss Setup

2. 2.There will be 2 choices of Temiss installation folder. “Temiss 5.2.6 above Starnet” is for OSRAM machine only while “Temiss 5.2.6 above non Starnet” is for non OSRAM machine. 1

3. 3.Choose the CORRECT folder according to the machine and click on “Setup” file to begin installation. 1 4.Follow the instructions and click “Next” all the way till complete the installation.

4. 5.Next, in order to ensure that the latest Temiss version is installed, access “Temiss Execute” folder as shown in the picture below. 1

5. 6.In “Temiss Execute” folder, there will be 2 choices of Temiss Exe folder as shown below. As mentioned previously, Starnet is for Osram machine only while Non- Starnet is for non Osram machine. 1

6. 7.Access the correct folder according to the machine and copy the available TEMISST.exe file into “C:\Program Files\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\star”. (Note: File shown below is an example. File version may differ in the future with each version updates. Latest Version: TEMISSTS_5.3.4.20SN Taper.exe Chinese Version: in TEMISSTS 5.4.1.00MWSN-CHN folder) 1

7. 8.Next, at C:\Program Files\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\Star, rename the original TEMISSTS.exe file to TEMISSTS_ORI.exe. Then, rename the latest Temiss file to TEMISSTS.exe. 1 Original (Created during setup) Latest Version

8. 9.For Chinese version Temiss (machine bound to China), besides copying the Temiss.exe file, the “TEMISSTS.CHS” file also have to be copied into “C:\Program Files\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\star” folder.

9. 10.Next, navigate to Start > Programs > star and drag the TEMISSTS.exe shortcut to desktop. Launch the program if Temiss with Starnet is installed else skips this step and proceed to step 10.15. 11.When launched, a pop-up as shown below will appear requesting for the registration key for Temiss.

10. 12.To obtain the activation key, access the “Temiss Program V5.2.6” folder and execute “Temiss Keygen” file as shown below.

11. 13.Next, navigate to Start > Programs > star and drag the TEMISSTS.exe shortcut to At the “Software Key Generator”, select the correct App Code Name and then copy the RegCode from the “Register Product License” and paste it into the “Software Key Generator”. 14.Then generate the Regkey using the “Temiss Key Generator”. When generate, copy the Regkey and paste it into the “Register Product License. Click “Register” to unlock the software. COPY PASTE

12. 15.When done, registration successful box will appear. Click “OK” and the Temiss program will be launch. 16.Exit and re-launch the program again. If the Product License request does not appear again, the Temiss registration is successful. (Else, repeat the steps from 10.11) 17.After completed, record down the RegCode & RegKey into the IPC Hardware & Software Form before exiting the Software Key Generator. 18.Next, proceed to “\\master\ControlSetup\IPC Setup (Drivers & Softwares)\Temiss Program V5.2.6\Database” folder in Master and access the folder “1Combined (Date)”. Copy all the files (8 files) in the folder into “C:\ProgramFiles\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\star\DB\” folder. Click “Yes” to overwrite the original file when prompt. 19.Next, proceed to \\master\ControlSetup\IPC Setup (Drivers & Softwares)\Temiss Program V5.2.6\BinDefinition Patch. Copy all the files (5 files) in the folder into “C:\ProgramFiles\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\star\DB\” folder. Click “Yes” to overwrite the original file when prompt. This is to allow user to set up to bin 511 for taping grouping number.

13. 20.Next, proceed to \\master\ControlSetup\IPC Setup (Drivers & Softwares)\Temiss Program V5.2.6\Temiss Execute\Temiss Default Registry. Double click “User PLC timers.reg” registry and click “Yes” to be integrating into Window Registry. 21.Skip straight to step 10.24 if machine is installed with “Temiss Starnet”. For machine installed with “Temiss non-Starnet”, there will be additional 1033 and 2052 folders generated in the DB folder as shown below. Rename 1033 folder to DB Chinese Rename 2052 folder to DB English

14. 22.Rename “2052” folder name to “English” and “1033” folder name to “Chinese”. Copy also the error files from “1Combined (Date)” in step 10.18 into the “English” folder. Click “Yes” to overwrite the original files when prompt. 23.Next, rollback and access the “5Combined Chinese” folder and copy all the files (8 files) in the “Chinese” folder. Click “Yes” to overwrite the original files when prompt.

15. 24.For error images, access the “New Images” folder located in “\\master\ControlSetup\IPC Setup (Drivers & Softwares)\Temiss Program V5.2.6\images. Then access the “2 By Modules” folder and select all the correct modules that will be used on the machine. (Please refer to Machine Layout Diagram.) 25.In each modules folder that will be used on the machine, select the correct type and copy all the contents into “C:\Program Files\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\star\images\”. (For example: Precisor (module)>Turret Precisor (type)>Motorised (type))

16. 26.Next, access the “1Category” folder and select the correct machine configuration folder and copy all the contents into “C:\Program Files\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\star\images\category”. (Please refer to Machine Layout Diagram.) 27.In the 2MT and 3MT folder, there will be 2 folders with numbers in a bracket. The numbers represent the station location for Transfer Out and Transfer In at the machine. Select the correct folder according to the station location and copy all the contents into “C:\Program Files\VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD\star\images\category”.

17. 28.After all require files are copied, rollback to the folder “VECTOR TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD” located at C:\Program Files. Right click on the folder and select Properties. 29.At the browser that appears as shown below, uncheck the “Read-only” box at the Attributes section and click Apply. Then, select “Apply to all subfolders and files” and click “OK” to confirm. After that, click “OK” to exit.

18. 30.Finally, following the path shown in the picture below, copy the “MC300” folder to primary drive (C:\).

19. 31.Go to Edit > Module Setup > PLC Tab > Click Register DB button.

20. 32.A PLC Data Block List will appear. Type in number “168” and click button “Add =>”.

21. 33.A successful register PLC DB dialog box will appear as shown below 34.Click Close button to close PLC Data Block List dialog box and click OK to close Module Setup.
