Object: it is an instance of specific object type. Eg 100001 is material number(object) of type material (object type). Change number : It is numeric/alphanumeric code used to change objects.Changes are done with reference to change number. Change master record: It is a master record that contains information necessary for the management and control of changes. Revision Level: It is alphanumeric code representing the processing status of an object.

ECO: Every ECR must be converted into Engineering changer order which enables us to change objects. Change Type : It is a key which controls the change process of an ECR / ECO. Object management record: It is a record to control changes to one particular object and document these changes.

Release key: It controls changes made to objects. The release key in the change master record controls which areas the changes that are made with reference to the allocated change numbers are released for. Revision level: revision levels identify material or document changes that are made with reference to a change number

Enter descriptions,change type,objects to be changed etc. Checking an ECR and converting into ECO(engineering change order ). Check the feasibility of change, modify system status,convert ECR TO ECO. Changing objects and completing changes. Make changes to objects with respect to change number of ECR Change the system status of ECR to change complete.
