3 www.gfoi.org SDCG-5 ESA/ESRIN, Frascati, Italy February 24-26, 2014 1.Confirm progress in implementing the global baseline and ensure upcoming core missions are optimized in support of GFOI (Element 1); 2.Progress the GFOI Space Data Services (Element 2) definition – ready for submission ahead of SIT-29 for endorsement; 3.Review procedures for managing non-core data stream requests and activity (Element 2); 4.Seek, secure, and discuss input from Country Day participants on the GFOI Space Data Services that are being considered in the Element 2 strategy, including feedback on the proposed SDMS objectives and functionality. 5.Review the plan of R&D activities, identify potential funding sources and define a way forward (Element-3); 6.Consider synergies with the Methods and Guidance documentation and its promotion in the countries receiving space data from GFOI; 7.Review the impact of GEOGLAM acquisition requests on the GFOI strategy and develop appropriate adjustments as relevant, and plan for liaison.
