4. What is Writing? Writing is much more than just putting words on a piece of paper. Writing is a series of forward and backward steps as writers think, reflect, revise, detour, start over, and repeat earlier steps.

5. Why Use the Writing Process? The biggest reason to use the writing process is that it makes your writing a lot more organized. It can also save a lot of time and confusion!
