This is why we take the utmost precaution when wiping your personal information off of your donated computers. We use a Department of Defense approved erasure standards program called Wipe Drive. The drives are wiped three times to ensure no user data is left on them. If the hard drives cannot be accessed electronically, they are drilled & destroyed.
