3 Homecoming Theme: “Sweet 16” Welcome to the Party

4 Homecoming Explained Homecoming is a time to celebrate the school you’re attending. Homecoming usually centers around a football game. It’s an annual tradition for most American high schools (and some colleges and universities, too!) Aside from the game, homecoming activities may include parties, a formal dance with a royal court, bonfires, tailgate parties, talent shows and a parade. Students normally decorate for these events. Students also show school spirit with their clothing.

5 Student Class Dues Freshman-$5 ---payable to Mrs. Crook (E-9) Sophomore-$10—payable to Mrs. Rucker C-5 Junior-buy Prom Ticket—(Mrs. Eubanks F-2) Senior-$25—payable to Mrs. Driver (B-11) Dues are used to purchase: Homecoming decorations for hallways Dances (homecoming/prom) Parade Food for dances

6 Homecoming Parade Thursday, October 8 th @ 6:00pm Pep Rally will follow on the public square Dress Code will be enforced for people participating in the parade

7 Homecoming Game Friday, October 9 th in Granite Bowl during half time Senior Football Players’ Sponsors Class representatives Crowning of Homecoming Queen and 1 st and 2 nd runner-up Dress Code will be Enforced for sponsors and class representatives

8 Homecoming Dance Saturday, October 10 th in the Multi-Purpose Room From 8pm-11pm $5 for advance tickets - Tickets can be purchased from a student council member during lunch October 1 st –October 9 th $10 @ the door Dress code will be enforced

9 Owed Fees If you owe $50 or more you must have 50% of your balance paid off to attend Homecoming Dance If you owe $49 and less you must have your owed fees paid in order to attend homecoming dance.

10 Homecoming Dance Guests A student wishing to bring a guest who is not a current ECCHS student must meet the approval of the administration and have a “Guest Approval” document returned to Mrs. Rucker in C-5 by Friday, October 2, 2015. We will NOT accept late Guest Approval Forms. The age requirement to attend any school dances is 9th grade up to 20 years of age.

13 Dress Code for the parade AND dance Girls need to make sure that their dresses adhere to school dress code. **You will be asked to leave or fix your attire if your attire does not adhere to school dress code. Dress Code Dress will…conceal the midriff and abdomen, not expose the sides, not have a plunging neckline and conceal the bosom area, not expose the back any lower than the waist, slits in the skirt will be no higher than mid- thigh; Skirts, and Dresses: Must be within 3 inches of knee when garment is worn at natural waist
