1. SCRIPTURE READING ISAIAH 55:8-9
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,     neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

2. HE IS GOD!
TRUST HIM!!

3. WHAT I WOULD LOVE:
I would love for us to be the kind of people who would stand in awe of God.

4. REASONS WHY WE CAN’T:
We are finite beings, He is infinite.

5. ISAIAH 55:8-9

6. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
Many just have a view of God, a picture, an image of God that is just too small.

7. ACTS 17:24-25
24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.

8. WHAT WE SHOULD CHOOSE:
That God exists, that the bible is true and in the beginning God created it all.

9. ISAIAH 40:25-26
25 “To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:  Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

10. CHARACTER OF GOD: 1. That He is Holy.
2. God is totally righteous, just and perfect.

11. DEUTERONOMY 32:3-4
3 I will proclaim the name of the Lord.     Oh, praise the greatness of our God! 4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect,     and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong,     upright and just is he.

12. GENESIS 2:7
7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

13. HE IS GOD!
TRUST HIM!!
