3 Born on February 27, 1807 He was born in Portland, Maine. His parents were Stephen Longfellow and Zilpah Longfellow

4 Most famous American writer of his time. had a major influence on American life. his poetry imparts cultural and moral values particularly focused on promoting life as being more than material pursuits Victorian Era

5 American educator He was a professor and a translator Was fluent in multiple languages
