38 THECB 10/2007 Accomplishments 2000 - 2007  By fall 2006, 31,000 additional undergraduate degrees had been awarded.  Nursing graduates have started increasing.  Universities now retain all overhead income from grants and contracts instead of 50%.

39 THECB 10/2007 Next Steps?  Need to assess institutional targets for participation and success.  Continue efforts to increase student participation and success.  Use the Accountability System to help improve our higher education administration, institutions, and programs.
