5 Materials Needed Offer a list of supplies that each student will need in order to follow your lesson. Write the list as follows: “You will need the following supplies on your desk for this lesson:” – Example of supplies: Textbook Pencil Calculator Colored Pencils, etc. Remember, you are using this PPT to teach the students in Whole Class time. You will be speaking and using this “live”.

21 Tips for EDU 250 Students Use Font 30-32 Use a reasonable background that does not detract from the learning/distract the learner Complement the lesson with interesting visuals (pictures/graphs/etc.) Do not use more than 2 colors for writing per slide Do not use dark background with light writing font color Do not use “glow in the dark” style coloring Don’t be “wordy” on the text of “in class” slides for your lessons – Less is always best. Remember, you and the activity are the focus of the learning – not the slide. Use the same transition throughout the slide presentation. Use creative, age appropriate, interesting animations as needed.
