8 HOSPITALITY…  Visitors are treated as kings and must always be fed and looked after.  Someone stay in your home for 3 days before you can ask them why they are there and when they are going to leave.

9 MEETING PEOPLE…  common greeting is a handshake with eye contact and a smile.  The standard Arabic/Islamic greeting is "asalaamu alaikum" ("peace be with you"), and then the other person say "wa alaikum salaam" ("and peace be unto you").  Good friends of the same sex may greet each other with a handshake and a kiss on each cheek, starting on the right side of the face.

10 DINING ETIQUETTE…  Sometimes you have to remove shoes.  Sometimes you may eat on the floor, sit cross-legged or kneel on one knee. Never let your feet touch the food mat.  Use your right hand for eating and drinking.  You should leave some food on your plate it looks like you are a polite person when you have finished eating.
