2 Proposal idea/content The main aim is to develop an European model which homogenizes the comprehension and treatment, both LEAs and citizens or enterprises, of a phenomenon as cyberfraud from a triple perspective: prevention, investigation and mitigation. 1.PREVENTION: To elaborate strategies for the prevention and self-defence against potential cyberfraudulent conducts that affect European citizens as active or passive agents of that crime, as well as to public or private institutions of the different community countries; 2.INVESTIGATION: To develop standardized tools for the investigation of events related to cyberfraud, especially by stimulating common spaces of cooperation between local, regional, state and inter-state agencies and sharing resources and intelligence in a European level. 3.MITIGATION: To stimulate effective instruments for mitigation of cyberfraud effects in a personal, social and community well-being level, as well as the reduction of the economic impact of a process of victimisation on those persons, enterprises and other institutions that have suffered its consequences.
