4. 2016- 17 Service Hour Chance! IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE CHANCE FOR YOUR ART WORK TO APPEAR ON THE BACK OF THE 2016- 17 SCHOOL YEAR RHO KAPPA T-SHIRT, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR DESIGN ON WHITE CARDSTOCK TO MS. FONTENOT BY MAY 13 th. THE DESIGN MUST BE SOCIAL STUDIES RELATED. EACH SUBMISSION IS WORTH 1 HOUR OF SERVICE FOR THE 2016-17 SCHOOL YEAR. WINNER WILL RECEIVE A FREE T-SHIRT AND 5 HOURS OF SERVICE FOR THE 2016- 17 SCHOOL YEAR. *THIS IMAGE WILL STILL BE USED AS OUR CREST

6. INDUCTION CEREMONY Induction is mandatory for ALL members- if you do not attend, your membership will be revoked. Induction will be on Thursday, May 5 th at 5:00 Old and new officers please meet in the auditorium at 4:15 Old and new members please bring your food to the cafeteria when you arrive then meet in the auditorium by 4:30 (***stay tuned about food) Family and friends are welcome to attend.

7. INDUCTION DRESS BOYS: You must wear a nice shirt (tucked in) and dress pants GIRLS: You must wear a dress or a skirt/ pants with an appropriate top EITHER: You may wear your school uniform. Please dress appropriately.

8. AFTER INDUCTION There will be a celebratory reception in the Cafeteria. Old and new members MUST bring at least one item of food (cookies, chips, etc.), drink, or paper product (cups, napkins, plates, utensils, etc.). We need parent volunteers to help with food. If your parent helps us, you will get service hours. You must sign up for an item after the meeting, today. Next years members will receive an hour of service for each item. We will have order forms to collect sizes for next years t-shirts If you paid your dues for 2016-17, your shirt is paid for.
