1 Egyptian Technology By Table 2: Sami James Moriah Calandrea

2 This is a temple dedicated to Amon- Re. He is the king of the Gods.

3 This is a mummy of Ramses the second. Mummies were an advancement because it was a way to preserve the dead.

4 This is a citadel in Cairo. A citadel is like a castle. This citadel has served as the administrative center and as a military base.

5 This is where Egypt is located.  Egypt is located here, in Africa.  It is close to Saudi Arabia.

6 An Egyptian Fortress  Egyptians made this fortress to use in wars.  This is from the 15th century.  It is called Fort Qait Bay  The Arabian name is al- Iskandariyah

7 Abu Simbel  This is one of the many statues in Egypt.  It was built during Ramsey’s reign as pharaoh.

8 Pyramids About 85 pyramids from Ancient Egypt still remain today. Today, pyramids are mostly found on the western side of the Nile River.

9 Some about heiroglyphics  Heiroglyphics were rarely large.

11 A Pyramid Comes to Life  A pyramid is made out of clay, dirt, mud blocks, and stone.  This is a pyramid made as the diagram showed.

12 Camel Travel  They learned how to travel by camel.  They used dessert animals that needed very little water.

13 Slaves and war  Slaves could join the Egyptian military to earn their freedom but they had to use leather weapons.(as shown in picture)

14 More on heiroglyphics  Here are some letters and sounds in heiroglyphic. Heiroglyphics were an advancement because it was the Egyptians own invented way of writing.
