7 Ethical considerations The above mentioned recommendations have been offered with consideration to current legislative, regulatory and ethical obligations of a early childhood professional. They are offered with the intention of trial and reflection to shared with colleagues, families and children. In terms of ethics, it is wise to acknowledge that not all families will agree with the suggestions put forth, however their opinions and ideas warrant consideration and possible adaptation of practices. (ACECQA (2011a)., Early Childhoood Code of Ethics [ECA], 2006)
