Government attendance  Restrictions are still in place for government travel  Anecdotal discussions indicate that DoD will not participate in any conferences for the remainder of this FY (Sep 30)  No word on what will happen in FY14 Overall attendance is down for all AIAA conferences  Conference attendance is down ~20% for the conferences held so far  Vended events have been canceled or are not being held by AIAA – MDA canceled by the Missile Defense Agency – FAA chose not to use AIAA as event organizer because of government restrictions on conference organization  See Slide 3 Negative impact to AIAA finances  Below budget by $ 1 million 2
