19 Mainstreaming needs cooperation from different stakeholders Partnerships are imperative in mainstreaming gender (HerZimbabwe, GenderLinks) Multiple approaches have a potential of realising change Changing attitudes is a process not an event, not absolute Not realising immediate results should not deter efforts Skills development at training level has a potential of changing industry practices LESSON LEARNED AND INNOVATION NOW AND POST 2015 ! YES WE MUST

20 Departmental gender focal person was involved in the organization of the international conference Universities like Lupane State University and the Great Zimbabwe University attended Lesson learnt from other institutions gender mainstreaming has to be comprehensive in an institution of higher learning Should include curricula development, staff development, research support Transformation is a process and sharing ideas with other institutions may contribute to focused efforts in gender mainstreaming LEARNING AND SHARING WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS NOW AND POST 2015 ! YES WE MUST
