6 Professor Anna Singer, Faculty of law, Uppsala university, nov. 2011 Deferred community property system On the dissolution of a marriage, by spouse’s death or divorce, the main rule is that a spouse in principle has a right to half of the value of the other spouse’s property after deduction of the other spouse’s debts.
