5 Document Status (continued) WG Last Call Using an LSA Options Bit to Prevent Looping in BGP/MPLS IP VPNS Soon to be WG Last Called OSPF Version 2 Management Information Base (Update to RFC 1850) Authentication/Confidentiality for OSPFv3 More discussion needed – Need WG Focus OSPFv3 MIB Update OSPFv3 Traffic Engineering OSPF Capabilities

6 Graceful Restart Implementation Report – draft-ietf-ospf-graceful- impl-report-00.txt Five vendors responded – Juniper, Redback, Mortorola Computer Systems (formerly Netplane Systems), Mahi Networks, and anonymous vendor 1. Others encouraged to respond. Implementation Differences Strict LSA Checking – whether changed LSA causes helping router to terminate graceful restart. Application of Grace LSA – Whether it applies to all adjacencies with the originating router or only the link local adjacency. Additional extensions 5 New MIB object in ospfGenernalGroup. 3 to ospfNbrEntry and ospfVirtNbrEntry. Graceful Restart Implementation Report
