Population Statistics The population of Kyrgyzstan currently is established as 5,587,443. The city with the largest number of people is Bishkek with 631, 000. The population growth rate in the year 2000 was around 1.43% and went down to 1.25% in the year 2004. However the growth rate has managed to go back up to its original growth rate in year 2012 with 1.43%. Crude birth rate (2009) – 22% Crude death rate (2009) – 7%
