2. HAVE OR GET SOMETHING DONE 1. 所謂「使役」，就是叫人家去做事情 2. 使役動詞 make, have, let 最大特色就是後面的動詞是用「原形動詞 或過去分詞」，不可再加 to 。  主詞 + 使役動詞 + 受詞 ( 人 )+ 原型 V~( 表示主動 ) Do you know where I can have someone fix my bike? You can have Hazel’s Personal Services fix your bike.  主詞 + 使役動詞 + 受詞 ( 物 )+P.P~( 表示被動 ) Do you know where I can have my bike fixed? You can have your bike fixed by Hazel’s Personal Services.

You can get a repair shop to fix your bike.  主詞 + get + 受詞 ( 物 ) + P.P~( 表示被動 ) Do you know where I can get my bike fixed? You can get your bike fixed at a repair shop.

What about ＋ V-ing （或名詞） ? ＝ How about ＋ V-ing （或名詞） ? … 如何（怎麼樣）？ EX: What about /How about going to the night market? Have you thought about going to the party? 2.With modals + verbs Maybe you could go to a chat room on the Internet. EX: We could visit Japan next week.

8. Making suggestions 3.With infinitives It might be a good idea to check out those discussion groups at the bookstore. One thing you could do is (to) go…. EX: One thing you could do is (to) study hard. 4.With negative questions Why don’t you join a dating service? EX: Why don't we go to swimming-pool tomorrow?
