I could see it as I came over the cliff.

Using the information from the two callers, how could you identify a location to send to the Coastguard? We know that there is a boat on fire: - due East (090°) from the blue caller - North East (045°) from the red caller

By plotting lines using the direction (or bearing) given by the callers, you can find a suitable place to start searching. Things to consider: Why might this not be a completely accurate location? What would make it more accurate?
