1 Bell Ringer  After watching the news, summarize one story in 2 sentences.  Make sure to write your response in your bell ringer chart with today’s date.

2 Finish Founding Fathers Assign.  10 minutes to finish this assignment.  After 10 minutes, turn it in.  If you are still not done it becomes homework and will be a late assignment.

4 Interpreting Data Ch. 1-2 in the brown book

5 Interpreting Maps  Look all ALL of the information on the map and around the map  Pay attention to names of countries, political borders, locations of places, etc.  These things can change overtime

6  What do the colors represent?  What year is the map representing?  What title would you give this map?  Who won the Electoral Vote?  Which state had the most people during this election?

7 Interpreting Bar & Line Graphs  Bar Graphs  Compare 2+ things  Line Graphs  Usually used to show change over time

8  Is this a bar graph or a line graph?  What information is the graph telling us?  When was unemployment the highest?  When was it the lowest? Percent of Americans Unemployed Year

9 Interpreting Pie Charts  Also called circle graphs  Usually show relationships between a whole and its parts  Used to make conclusions and comparisons

10  What is the pie chart telling us about?  Which group had the most deaths during the Holocaust?  Which had the least?
