Project detail Vehicle Sales Management System is used to computerize sales operations right from marketing activity registration, enquiry registration and follow- up, vehicle and accessories quotations, discounts and schemes administration, handling sales brokers, insurance and RTO activities, invoicing, handling sales and service tax calculations. The main aim of developing this Vehicle Sales Management System, intranet/extranet application is to provide better solution for vehicle sales showroom.

The previous system in vehicle showrooms is with full of manual interference and was taking more time for each sale and everything about vehicle details and customer details have to maintain in their records, so it will take risk of data loss at any time. The challenge is to handle quote revisions, discount- affordability projection, repeat customers, aiding paper record management efficiency and providing a VSMS Dashboard for Sales Personnel, Back Office Staff as well as the Management.

5. By using this system, it is possible to retrieve the previous data whenever admin wants and providing efficient output to all sales related companies in form of analysis reports. This system should be of client-server architecture, with a browser-based interface. The system shall have an extensive database that would capture and record all necessary details of employees of all types. The system contains database and records of agencies to the business, brokers, insurance agents, RTO agents, sub-dealers, etc. as needs arise.

Enquiry Management In this module, Enquiry officer can register new enquiry for clients, and each enquiry is finalized and check its status as (Complete \ Pending Enquiry), if it is pending enquiry then it will go in follow up section. Vehicle information management In this module, custome can view all types of vehicle details online. Modules:

Sales Management In this module, Sales executive officer access enquiry of clients, and check whether clients come direct or through broker, and collect all documents and specify the vehicle details. Then he generates quotation and calculates the service taxes and finally generates the invoice and finalizes sales. Registration Management In this module, vehicle registration can be done. And RTO and Insurance activities takes place.

8. User management In this module, the Admin decides that which user can access which kind or which part of data of system. Admin can add, update and remove the users of system.
