7 Agroforestry (Food Forest) Project in Buracica In 2007 in Alagoinhas, Bahia, we worked with 30 families for 12 months implementing a rural community sustainability plan SOME OF OUR PAST PROJECTS...

8 Polyculture Project in Caem In 2006 and 2007, in Caem, Bahia, we worked with 150 families over 18 months to increase food security and plan, plant and maintain an agroforest (diversified food forest)

9 School Vegetable Gardens Project In 2005 and 2006, in Saubara, Bahia, we worked with students from 4 local schools over 15 months to increase food security through planting vegetable gardens

10 Sertão.Net Project In 2008 and 2009 we worked with 150 farmers from the semi-arid region in Brazil and community representatives from the semi-arid region in India, training participants in video conferencing and facilitating discussions on agricultural techniques, experiences and technologies

11 Polyculture in the Semi-Arid Region Project For 10 years from 2000 to 2009 we worked with over 700 families from communities in Umburanas, Ourolândia & Cafarnaum, Bahia, to ensure local food security through re-evaluting agricultural practices, seed-mixing (polyculture) & agroforestry (diversified food forests)

12 Umbuzeiro School Project We’re working with 150 families from 30 communities in the semi- arid region in Bahia, facilitating environmental education, support and training and creating local rural popular educators OUR CURRENT PROJECT

13 Harvesting the Fruits of the Sertão Project Working for 16 months with 600 families from Umburanas, Ourolândia and Cafarnaum, in Bahia, to set up 3 local agribusinesses that will process and market locally-grown organic fruit OUR FUTURE PROJECTS!

14 Agroecology and Land Rehabilitation Project Working for 12 months with 100 families from communities in Arataca, Ilhéus, Andaraí and Nova Redenção, in Bahia, to reassess agricultural practices, apply agroecology principles and techniques and rehabilitate degraded lands

15 Our projects are working with farmers, families and communities in Bahia for local, sustainable development. We depend on the support of people who believe in this work and share our values.
