Introduction Application S/W for server load balancing Many client requests make server congestion Distribute the load among multiple servers i.e., sub servers No hardware changes required Operates only on windows platform

Existing System Current scenario- one server, many clients It achieves high security as well as low cost of implementation If server fails, clients can’t do operations Performance degradation when load increases Low response time

Proposed System Avoid congestion by balancing the client requests Dynamic Load Balancing Eased System Administration Fault tolerance and reliability It handles web requests and manage all web requests from clients Response time becomes faster

Modules User Management Network Settings Client-Server Communication Client Server Proxy Server

User Management Module Administrator is the user Administrator can enter to the system with his username and password Operations like password change, view details of several clients, edit client details are possible View client processes details Details of URL’s that is to be blocked are also entered

Network Settings Main objective is IP management Client details are entered as client name, IP address, client connected time etc IP must be valid i.e., the client will be verified when registered with the server Server details are also entered, including sub server details

Server details are IP, MAC address and priority By default main server has 1 st priority When main server fails sub server will get 1 st priority and main server with 2 nd priority Administrator can view details of clients and server Network Settings

Three types of communications Client-Server Communication Client to Server Server to Client Network Communication When client request comes in this module checks whether the IP belongs to a valid client

When Server has an output to a client, IP of the Client is obtained from the client list TCP/IP communication is used here Requests and responses will be available at user defined ports Client-Server Communication

Client will connect to the Server automatically when start up or manually Client send requests to the Server and receives responses Requests are send to a particular port i.e.., proxy server is used Client Module

Server will receive the requests from the client through proxy server Send responses to the client as web pages When Server is Up the priority will be 1 st Client Monitoring is performed here Server Monitoring Server Module

Its an application program Client requests are first receives at the Proxy Server Proxy Server enables URL blocking Proxy Server will bypass the requests to the Server If the main Server is down or fail then request is send to any of the sub server which has the highest priority Proxy Server
