The team will serve in CR from 6/29 to 7/13. Preparations are underway, including a fundraiser this Sunday to sell lunch. Please support them and pray for the team. - Mr. Bin Qu (grandpa of Christine Wu and Esther Ou) passed away on 3/16 at age 98. The memorial service will be on 3/26, 9:30AM, Main sanctuary, followed by burial ceremony in Tewksbury Cemetery. Family News and Prayer Requests Seeking to Transform Lives and Communities - Opportunities and Actions, John 9:4 Prayer Letter from Ronald Yu – Feb. 28, 2016 (Part 1: Missional Farm in Hong Kong) Dear friend and partner in the Gospel, The Lord has kept me busy with mission activities during the past few months. I had peace and joy amidst persecution of the church in China and turmoil in Hong Kong. The missional farm is called is called SOW (Shine On the World) and is located in Taipo. Formerly deserted for decades, half of the field was now cleared for cultivation. Row pads were cast out for interested people to practise organic farming with experienced farmer to tutor alongside. Various church and community groups are interested to have retreat, outing or volunteer work at the farm serving Christians and non-Christians alike for different purposes. So far, over 1000 people had visited the farm, creating opportunities to serve and do ministry. We had two missionaries practiced in the farm before they departed for their mission field in Muslim Africa and near-Eastern Asia. Please continue remember the farm in your prayers, and also pray for the churches in HK and China that Christians may act as light and salt, and serve as channel of peace in time of political upheaval in HK and religious persecution in China.
