3. 3 Systems Sustainment Curricula The purpose of LOG-102 is to introduce the Sustainment workforce to the following Sustainment oriented curriculum in a Distance Learning format : –Total Life Cycle Systems Management –Logistics/Supply Chain Management Concepts –Best Commercial Practices as applied to Weapons System Sustainment –Market Research and Research Methods –Business Case Analysis –Partnering/alliance opportunities and experiences –Performance based agreements and metrics –Electronic Business Environment and Opportunities

4. 4 Log 102 Status Penn State –Reviewed Supply Chain Management Course Content –Observed Army Supply Chain Management Program in session eBusiness and Supply Chain Management Inventory Velocity through eBusiness (Dell) –Usable with some adaptation to the DoD Community –Requested Mapping of Supply Chain Management course material against our Product Support competencies

5. 5 Log 102 Status Penn State –Completed Mapping of courses to Sustainment competencies –Provided on-line access to ACQ-101 and LOG-101 –Teleconference scheduled 12/13/02 to discuss Expanded Dialog with DACMs –DAU DACM Mtgs –AETC&D DACM Mtgs

6. 6 LOG 102 Status Coordinating with Log 235 Development and LOG 304 update Funding earmarked for LOG-102 development Course development officially underway Awaiting full go-ahead PCD decision –Official staffing in progress –Need to get on with this
