2. Beginning On a sheet of paper with your name on it complete the following 7 tasks. Please make sure that your paper has a title: Characteristics of Ocean Water and a subtitle for each task. You will turn in this assignment for grading. I will be looking for 1) a title, 2) subtitles and 3) your answers in full sentences for the full credit.

4. TASK 2 Read Pg 78 Make a Tree Map to answer the question: WHAT’S IN OCEAN WATER?

10. TASK 5 Read Pg 80 Answer the following question (any way you’d like): WHAT AFFECTS THE TEMPERATURE OF THE SURFACE WATER IN THE OCEAN?

11. TASK 6 Read pg. 81 Draw your own map or a picture that shows the water cycle and its 3 processes: evaporation, condensation and precipitation. Please make sure you describe each process in 1-2 sentences.

12. TASK 7 Read pg. 82 and answer these 2 questions: What is the most important function of the oceans on Earth? List 2 things that would happen with our climate if we don’t have oceans.
