1 What does school do in terms of physical activities ?

2 Nursery school It is at this time of childhood that the basic mobility skills develop composed of key actions: travel (walking, running, jumping) balances (stand on one foot) manipulation (grab, pull, push) throwing, object reception Nursery schools are the opportunity to build essential motor actions: move, ensure balance and manipulate objects, throwing or receiving.

3 The child learns to share with his comrades moments of collective games, danced and song games. All these skills are built through the practice of physical activities that contribute to direct the efforts of children and give them meaning: "jump the farthest distance possible" (athletics) is different from "jumping from one machine to fall back on your feet "(gymnastic activities). These lovely experiences express and communicate impressions and emotions.

4 Primary school Three hours per week of physical education and sports (EPS) target the development of motor skills and physical activity, sports and arts.
