8.  Inside test box consist of transducer, dc to dc converter, crs, battery, lamp and auto switch.  This system related with coding so it used hyper terminal software.  Phone number is saved in the code and it will react as a command.  Once type a text massage “crs-ares” the system will ON and it will light up.  The moment type a text massage “crs-on- 11” the system will OFF and light off.

9. MICROWAVE OUTDOOR BARRIER

10.  Microwave outdoor barrier is used for the protection zone.  This system consist of transmitter and receiver.  At receiver, there are LED and signal light.  Red LED light represent that the system already detect movement that occur between the receiver and transmitter.  Green LED represent the signal. The more the green LED the lowest the strength of the signal.

13.  Above figure is CRS which also used in RTU system. RTU is Remote terminal units that collect data automatically and connect directly to sensors, meters, loggers or process equipment. They serve as slave units to supervisory controllers or supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) masters. Remote terminal units are located near the monitored process and transfer data to the controller unit on command. They often include integral software, data logging capabilities, a real-time clock (RTC) or totalizer, and a battery backup.

14.  Intrinsically safe remote terminal units are designed to operate safely in hazardous environments. Devices with weather tight enclosures are designed to prevent the ingress of moisture, dust or other environmental contaminants. Closed loop systems use proportional, integral and derivative (PID) control; proportional and integral (PI) control; proportional and derivative (PD) control; or proportional (P) control. Redundant RTUs are complete remote terminal units that contain all of the transceivers, encoders, and processors needed for proper functioning in the event that a primary RTU stops working.

15. CONCLUSION  A lot of the tasks and activities that I have worked on during my internship are familiar with what I’m studying at the moment. I worked in many areas where I did different work. This case gives me a chance to find out which areas I want to work in after my education.  Besides, I learned a lot from the different interns that I have been working with during my internship. Before my internship started my ideas did not match the experiences have gained during my internship. I realised that it is not same actual work with studies.  Internship at ABM DEVICES was definitely a learning experience. This internship was definitely beneficial for me and I’m grateful and thankful that I got experience and learn many things.
