Future Projection Expected Outcome(s) Management of College Research Fund; Formation of Interdisciplinary Faculty Research Teams; Restructure the Centre for Cultural and African Studies – Five-Year Strategic Plan ready for submission. Establishment of Centre for Inter-disciplinary Research and Innovation. Sustainable Research Fund operational 5 Faculty Research Teams More research and cultural extension programmes Create partnerships and collaboration between social science and science researchers

Future ProjectionExpected Outcome(s) Internal Doctoral Programmes for non- Ph.D staff (Work-Study Approach); Preparation of Staff Recruitment and Development Plans; Introduce Awards and incentives to motivate staff and students More lecturers with Ph.D and improved research capacity. Required quality staff recruited. More staff and students with excellent performance.

Future Projection Expected Outcome(s) Completion of Faculty of Art Building; Commencement of construction of Social Science Faculty Building; Provide more access to computers, internet facilities, and LCDs for teaching. Increased classrooms, offices and facilities. Enhanced use of ICT in learning, teaching and research.

Future Projection Expected Outcome(s) Expand Extension services of CASS Entrepreneurship Clinic, Internship and Career counseling programmes for students. Consultancies, Short courses, Revamp Design Press and Jewelry Center, offer more Part-time and Distance Learning programmes; increased IGF More students exposed to Entrepreneurship and the job market.

Although there are still some challenges, there are signs of gradual growth Potential for further growth is enormous What is needed: a) Sustained investments in infrastructure and ICT; b) Capacity building; c) Motivation and Incentives.
