2 PMIS Release 2.9 New Features 2 Introduction Welcome This training guide will help familiarize you with changes to the Property Management Information System (PMIS) as a result of the 2.9 Release of PMIS. This training presentation will demonstrate only the new functionality provided by the release. This section of the training guide will introduce you to the new basic features and functions of PMIS and show you how to utilize this new functionality in your day to day business operations.

4 PMIS Release 2.9 New Features 4 Management Module :Maintain Inventory Assets What’s New? Maintain Inventory Assets Form: Validation on Financial Data Fields Users without a financial role will not be able to modify the following Global User Fields: CAN, Object Class Code, Budget Fiscal Year, Fund Cancel Date, Accounting Point, Appropriation, and Override Service Life In Service Date will be Blank by default and users will be required to enter this value

5 PMIS Release 2.9 New Features 5 Management Module Maintain Inventory Asset – Global Financial Fields Financial Fields can only be updated by a user with a Financial Role

8 PMIS Release 2.9 New Features 8 Management Module :Process PO Records What’s New? Process PO Records Form: Validation on CAN Field to prevent Multiple CAN assets from being created If a User tries to Allocate PO Line Items with Different CANs, an error message will display that prevent the allocation If the total Cost of the asset is less than $5,000, then the Sensitive Flag will automatically be set to YES when the asset is created. A new Informational Message has been added to inform the user that changes to the Additional Details tab on the PO screen will not be saved. The Auto Capitalization function has been temporarily disabled due to A-123 requirements. This function will be redeployed in Release 2.10 of PMIS

10 PMIS Release 2.9 New Features 10 Management Module Process Inventory Asset PO Interface Records Form – Multiple CAN Validation Warning Message displays to remind user that changes to the Additional Details tab will not be saved.

12 PMIS Release 2.9 New Features 12 New Custom Reports 3 Updated User Defined Reports  All Asset Report – updated to display the Resolution Date, Resolution Type, and Resolution Location. HRSA only: Added IT Component Fields  Asset Barcode Search Report – updated to display the Resolution Date, Resolution Type, and Resolution Location.  ADP/Non-ADP Depreciation Report – Updated to include fully depreciated assets 1 New Report (FDA Only)  Add Change Delete Report – displays changes to Capital assets grouped by Accounting Point and Appropriation
