17 GA Meetings Frequency: Most GA groups meet weekly for 45 minutes to an hour. Some groups only meet once a month, but meet for a longer period of time. Location: Church setting, ministry outreach center, homes

19 GA Journey GA Journey SM, the individual achievement plan for Girls in Action, helps girls in grades 1–6 reinforce and live out the missions concepts they learn during regular GA sessions. This optional plan provides opportunities for individual GAs to deepen their missions discipleship and strengthen their faith.

20 Vests and Badges GAs display earned badges on purple vests. Vests can be purchased at lifeway.com/specialtyimprints Badges can be earned through special projects and activities found in GA Leader, GA Journey, or leader-created projects.

21 Children’s Ministry Day Each February, thousands of children across North America participate in ministry projects on the same day: Children’s Ministry Day TM. Children follow God’s command to “put your love into action” (1 John 3:18). Church groups create projects that meet needs in their own communities. Since 2008, more than 170,000 people have taken part in Children’s Ministry Day! WMU ® invites all children in grades 1–6 to participate.
