2 AREA OF FOCUS The focus of Area- is to give outlets to the children and families who have endured child abuse and neglect. And put Positive Where there is Negative Feelings and Emotions.

3 Variables The Population is Children and Adolescent’s (8yr old’s) Girls and Boy, as we’ll as the Famileis

4 RESEARCH QUESTION’S What do you feel could help bring the family closer ? What Changes have you seen within yourself or the Family since the Incident Occurred? What can you do to Trust again?

5 Reason Intervention  To build Self Worth  Build Trust  Build communication within the Family Intervention  Family Counseling  Parenting Skills Class  Home Visits  Social Support Group for Child  Improvement in Physical Health/Mental  Performance at school and with Family.

6 Negotiation That Need To Take Place Words of encouragement Family Activities, Such as bowling, Camping, Swimming, Picnicking Together Hugs, Affection

7 RESEARCH TIMELINE 6 Weeks for the Action Research Consent Forms Signed Questionnaire Interview Follow – Up A month Later

8 STATEMENT OF RESOLVE/DATA COLLECTION Follow – Up – to make sure Family is in Counseling, and How it is Building there family up. Interview with family to see how they encourage each other, and observe the change just to make sure Family is headed in a positive Recovery Review the Data and observe the family over a period of 6 weeks, I will use the questionnaire's with the parents as we reach goals of interventions.

9 Conclusion I have already begun my research and both families are very corporative, and I look forward to the results from all the Data Collected.
