INTRODUCTION This speech is an overview of the characteristics of the GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT), a software tool developed in 2009 to publish biodiversity information in the internet. The GBIF Secretariat, Denmark This lecture is presented by Alberto González-Talaván, Training Officer at the GBIF Secretariat in Copenhagen, Denmark. This presentation if not intended to cover all aspects of the IPT, not even in a summarised form. It intends to highlight the most relevant aspects for GBIF Participant Node Managers for them to evaluate the suitability of the tool for deployment in their networks.
