1 Bell Work Reflection 3/28/16 Put yourself in the shoes of Civil Rights activist from the 1960’s. Evaluate the progress that we have made over the last fifty years. What are some of the successes? What are still challenges that we face? Do you think it has gotten worse or has it gotten better? Use examples to support your claim.

2 Essential Question EQ: How did the leaders and tactics differ during the civil rights movement ? I will compare nonviolent and violent approaches utilized by the major civil rights leaders and groups during the 1960s.
