4 CONCLUSIONS of the last WGFF meeting 2013 in Poitiers …. From the formal point of view, the results of the comparison demonstrate equivalence of the laboratory standards and support their measurement capability statements. But it should be stated, that the instability of the transfer standards used, limits the metrological explanatory power of these results. Because of the current absence of clear requirements concerning the stability of the transfer standards, this should not lead to restrictions concerning the CMC entries of the facilities which took part in this supplementary comparison. COOMET.M.FF-S2 Measurement of liquid flowrate COOMET.M.FF-S2 Measurement of liquid flowrate Addition after discussions in WGFF The flow measurement community has not yet agreed on a value for the transfer standard to lab uncertainty ratio that yields conclusive comparison results. But for CMCs to be accepted during international review, convincing comparison results are necessary, especially for liquid flow standards with uncertainty < 0.03 %. Therefore, some of the comparison participants are advised to pursue further comparisons to support their present uncertainty claims or increase their lab uncertainties to values comparable to the transfer standard uncertainty in this comparison.
