2 What is ASSIST Assist is a tool on the Eurostat's Portal website, which enables users to request support in their national languages. (https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/xtnetassist/) Requests are treated by a diverse team of support members who work in the user support network & Eurostat authors services. The aim of the presentation is to inform the Support Members of the newest developments, soon to be released to the public. 2

3 3 Overview of improvements (1) Improvements for registered users –Updates on the requests panel: Multilingual interface (also available for members of Support Centers) Grouping of attributes/communications/attachments into a single panel (also available for members of Support Centers) Compact communication history (expands/collapses)

4 4 Overview of improvements (2) Specific improvements for members of Support Centers –Introduction of predefined answers in the user interface –Introduction of Frequently Asked Questions and Knowledge Database in the user interface (predefined text available for selection when editing a request) –New formatting and spell checker options in the workspace –Refined main commands panel –Send mail to several recipients (in Carbon copy) at the assign option –Reports are now available also in excel format

5 5 Improvements for registered users Multilingual interface for many languages New description area for the initial users text Clear & compact requests communication history Attachments are integrated in the communication history

6 Specific Improvements for the Support Members (Multilingual, predefined answers and communication history) 6 Multilingual interface Predefined Answers Predefined answers selection feed the workspace with ease Communication history is expandable for one or all request history

7 7 Specific Improvement for the Support Members (Introduction of Frequently Asked Questions and Knowledge Data Base) Selection in the Frequently Asked Questions or Knowledge Database is copied to the workspace

8 8 Specific Improvements for the Support Members – Introduction of formatting on the replies workspace panel Format your replies as in an Office type application

9 9 Dynamic spell- checking on the workspace Specific Improvements for the Support Members – New spell checker on the replies workspace panel

10 10 Specific Improvement for the Support Members (Refined Command Panel) –The command Panel enables the following actions: –Note to file –Save as a Draft (new) –Send Intermediate Answer –Send Final Answer –Assign –Transfer

11 11 Specific Improvement for the Support Members (On Assign Cc multiple email recipients) The select option enables to Cc multiple recipients

12 12 Specific Improvement for the Support Members (Reports available in Excel format) Available reporting formats: -HTML -PDF -EXCEL
